Julia Gorman is a Sydney based designer who is passionate about costume design. She is also experienced in prop making, which often informs her work. Having received an Advanced Diploma in Design for Live Production, Theatre and Events, Julia has a broad understanding of the many facets of film making and theatre.
Julia has previously designed for projects including the short films Casa Del Suenos by Jason Perini and Sleight by Tom Wilson. She has also been involved in music videos for Gay Paris and Luke & Wyatt. In addition to her design work she has worked backstage at the Mercedes Benz Fashion Week, and assisted the props department for the Melbourne production of King Kong.
Julia continues to explore a variety of ideas and techniques bringing to life detailed and authentic designs.
