Vanessa is a passionate and vibrant artist within the performing arts industry. Primarily a performer, Vanessa has explored all aspects of performance through multiple ensembles over the last five years. Graduating with a Bachelor of Performance from AIM -Dramatic Arts (formerly known as AADA) in 2013, Vanessa has successfully advanced her skills beyond dance and drama and has found a love for challenging creative and crew roles in theatre.
Vanessa has performed in productions such as “The Rimers of Elderitch” directed by Jason Langley in 2012, Andrew Davidson’s “Play House Creatures” in 2013 and Jason Langley’s “Chekhov in Hell” in 2013, which she also Sound Designed. Vanessa recently finished her contract as an actor in Poetry In Action’s 2014 Australian school tour and is currently studying at Screenwise, Australia’s leading television school, and is keen to branch out into acting for television.
Vanessa is extremely excited to jump on board and rise to the challenge of being the Choreographer and Sound Designer for Akio! and hopes that it will bring out the inner child in everyone!
